Fawley Bryant honors Co-Founder Rick Fawley by living out his vision

Fawley Bryant is deeply saddened to say goodbye to Co-Founder Rick Fawley, who unexpectedly passed away in his home yesterday.

Fawley was a visionary leader who was committed to the community and had a passion for solving problems with architecture. Fawley loved "making stuff happen" and "creating projects out of thin air” through the work of the firm that he co-founded with Mike Bryant in 1994.

"My partner was happiest when engaged with a client in the process of strategy and design. Happy to the end, Rick had been planning the future of the firm without him," says Bryant.

Fawley Bryant has been in a year-long process of implementing a succession plan and redefining the firm’s mission and vision. Steve Padgett, Vice President, Sarah Colandro, Director of Interior Design, and Stuart Henderson, Design Architect, who represent the firm's executive leadership team, are working with Bryant to ensure that Fawley's vision will continue.

"Rick's engaging manner and thoughtful approach has been the heart of our firm's philosophy. We have lost our mentor and friend, but we grow from his teaching," says the leadership team.

Arrangements are still pending and will be forthcoming. Requests for donations and/or flowers should wait until Rick's family makes that notification.
