The Lodge Collects a Golden Fork

Every project we work on at Fawley Bryant Architecture is important, whether it be a small skylight update or a brand new building. We pride ourselves on making each new piece of work an opportunity to make life better for our clients. But every now and then, there is a project that comes along that makes us stop and think wowthis is amazing. The Lodge at Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club is just that. This 30,000 sq. ft. facility is the awarded outcome of fantastic collaboration, imagination and attention to detail.

Recently awarded a national Golden Fork for the New Private category, The Lodge is a beautiful fusion of rustic, casual dining and upscale taste. Organized by Golf Inc. Magazine, the Golden Fork Awards distinguish the best and most improve public and private golf and dining facilities.

“We’re honored with the receipt of this prestigious award that began with the partnership between Fawley Bryant and Schroeder-Manatee Ranch, and taking an idea up through completion, evident in the quality of the product delivered. It provides the members with a place to dine in a casual setting with a rustic, high quality décor.  From the feature wine walls to the dining and bar facilities overlooking the golf course, as well as the full display kitchen, all provide a lively atmosphere for all of our members to meet, socialize and enjoy.”
- Wayne Piazza, General Manager for Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club

Helping set the destination apart is the member requested putting course, pro shop, and event lawn. These unique comforts, draw members in for hours, causing The Lodge to be extremely successful since its opening in April 2016.

“Our design team’s mission was to create a clubhouse unlike any other in the region. The architecture and interior design came together with an incredible view to the golf course and wetlands that resulted in a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels good.
